Remedy Brewing Company - Sioux Falls, SD

Updated: Aug 11, 2019

If you're looking for a place that has an industrial vibe, great beer, fantastic staff, and you can ride your bike to, Remedy is your spot. Like their slogan says Remedy is a place that cures what "ales" ya.

Now make it no secret that I am a fan or Remedy Brewing Company or just Remedy as many of us call it. Every time I have gone there I have have felt that this is a cool place and this can be a place for me. Their brews are great. I am rather partial to their Heffe-Metal hefeweizen. But there is something for everyone. For those who choose not to drink beer there are still plenty of soda options available. Remedy doesn't stop at just beer. This is a great place to come for a pizza or other snacky items. They're quick to make and hit the spot after a long day of work or riding. Try the taco flatbread, if there are any left when I leave.

The patio is a great place to spend a summer evening. They're got the usual chairs and tables, but also have a selection of patio furniture and a fire pit. You can also find games of bean bag toss and giant Jenga. Come by yourself, come with a friend, or attend one of their many events throughout the year (many of which are themed) you will not be dissapointed. Dog friendly, you can find many a furry friend hanging out as well.

Now all of this would make Remedy a cool place and indeed it does, but they haven't stopped there. Remedy Brewing Company has a banner on the patio that reads WELCOME CYCLISTS and indeed they do. Registered with the League of American Bicyclists they recently achieved bronze status in 2019. You can get there directly off of the Sioux Falls bike trail and they have plenty of racks on the patio to leave your trusty steed behind as you seek out some well deserved hydration.
